The people who built my house just LOVED wall sconces. Like, a lot. So much so that instead of my bedrooms having light switches or anything ceiling mounted, they have hardwired sconces that require on/off switches. It is hard to find attractive sconces that have switches--bit these do!They're lightweight and a breeze to install. I like the fact that there are actual rocker switches on the sconces instead of the kind that turn, as the switches are easier to operate with my nose when I have my hands full. (It happens a lot.)The one thing I wasn't crazy about was the shades. They're not bad but they gave me a hotel room vibe. But because the socket size is standard, I was able to get different glass shades from Lowes that fit perfectly and look great. That was merely a personal preference, though. I could have lived with the included shades had I not been so picky.Needed a set with a mounted switch since it was going to be hardwired. Feels pretty solid and durableGood value for the money.I ended up converting them to plug in wall sconces with lamp cord. A single LED blub and they brighten up my bedroom better than the standing floor lamp and spread the light more evenly instead from a single corner.Love, love my new wall sconces!! Love the shape and craftsmanship, fit perfectly in our bedroom. Great value all around, and easy to install.had wall switch but want to control at lamp. Off/on switch on light was perfect.We love these lights. Very stylish.Works perfectly for our sconces that aren’t attached to a light switch the on of switch is under stated and fades away
