There's a great deal to like about this switch. It's a genuine dual-relay switch. And the settings and mode for each relay can be set independently. For example you can set one relay to be auto-on with a 5 minute timeout (e.g. for a bathroom light) and the other to be manual-on with a 20 minute timeout (e.g. for a bathroom fan).The Maestro Dual Tech device has both PIR (Infra-red) and Ultrasonic sensors. The sensitivity for each sensor can also be set independently for each relay. The sensors work in a complimentary way. For example, if one of the switches is set to auto-on mode, the PIR triggers the switch (it "sees" someone entering the room) but the Ultrasonic sensor then kicks in to determine when to switch it off (which means the switch stays on while the room is occupied even if there are only very small movements).I like the simple appearance and clean lines of the switch. And the two large buttons have a flat surface so they can easily be labelled so guests can quickly see which functions they perform.It does however have a fatal flaw when used as a bathroom light + fan switch. If the bathroom contains a glass-enclosed shower, even at maximum Ultrasonic sensitivity the switch cannot detect a person inside the shower. So if the bathroom light is set for a quick timeout, the person in the shower can easily find themselves showierng in the dark until/unless they reach above the level of the shower glass so that the switch re-detects them. I tested this in two different bathrooms with two different showers, in both cases with the switch less than 10 feet from the shower.In contrast, the equivalent Leviton product works well and has sufficient Ultrasonic sensitivity to detect a person in the shower and keep the lights on. For this reason I can only give the Lutron Maestro Dual Technology Dual Relay switch 3 stars. I returned two of mine.Installs easy. Tons of customization. May be the best switch of its typeLike the way the switch allows for 2 circuits to turn on/off. the top switch is set to turn off as the 2 sensors work. the second switch could be set the same, but the default is manual on. both are set to time out after 15 minutes to go 'off'. There are programming instructions which seem a little difficult, but manageable. love this item. I wish there was one made for 3 circuits.This is a bit complicated to install but it is working well in my basement.
