Very Good ValueThe dimmer is a nice feature.I was happy to find this unique product it does not a cover that blocks out the illumination. Instead it's an open area bulb attachment that allows you to have the full spectrum of light once you install the bulb. The clip and the adjustable rod are both very sturdy. I was impressed with the fact that the clip is made from solid metal allowing you to attach to something and not break. Many of the lamps you find of this quality have a plastic clip that does not take a lot of abuse. This one here are used to light a green screen and needed a full spectrum light and this one is perfect for that the idea that it's also flexible allows me to hit the angles I need to have the green screen working correctly. The on-off switch is a solid switches well and if cord and attachments to it seemed very solid. I can see this used in several different applications where something that's going to last a while as needed. In today's market often times it's hard to find a product that's solid enough to use a few times before it breaks. This one here I think will last a very long time and I was pleased again with the sturdiness and how it was madeOne of my grow light fixtures died the death of a faulty switch. So I needed a new fixture. Not wanting to spend $80 on another lamp, I looked around and found this one. It conveniently clamps onto a shelf (which is great, because I couldn't afford to give up shelf space to another 10" lamp base). The fixture neck is flexible so that it can be positioned ANYWHERE I want it to go. And yet it is strong enough to hold a 23W LED light bulb (if anybody has held one of these bulbs, you know that they are heavy) into a horizontal position. This is not it's usual position, but is placed as it is in this picture to illustrate its strength. This fixture has a nice feel to it, like it was made to last. It FEELS sturdy. It has a convenient on/off switch in its one-meter power cord. And to beat all of the aforementioned properties, its less than $20. A bargain for a well put together unit that does exactly what I wanted it to do. I'm VERY glad that I bought this fixture.I grow vegetables indoors with plant lights and bought this Bonlux gooseneck lamp so I could easily adjust a closeup light over seedlings. And, indeed, it does the before mentioned perfectly: gooseneck is easy to flex and position but doesn't drift or slip from the weight of a GE Grow Light. Plus, the spring loaded clip is strong enough to keep a steady grip, albeit not as rock steady as a screw-on clamp. And, contrary to the experience of some other reviews, I found the clamp easy to open and attach. The components of this light seem well made and are attractive: chrome gooseneck and white socket, wires and switch. I wish the power cable was a little longer but I guess that's why they make extension cords. All in all a nice little light for indoor growing or even as a desk or work lamp.I was able to aim this light fixture in any direction for the time I needed it.The reviews that say it burnt up is because this is advertised wrong. It's an E27 240v so it will burn up if you put a E26 120v bulb in itThe clip is VERY difficult to open, it will damage most places you put it. If you can even open it wide enough to attach to something!I use the silver, flexible cable to wrap around something sturdy.The wall plug cord is very short, so I need to use an extension cord. But the on/off switch is very easy to use.Easy to installeasy to modifiedworks well
